Our story
Alyssa Agency was born from a deep attachment to inner Tunisie, the one that reveals itself as soon as you venture away from the coasts — a mosaic of Berber, Numedian, Phoenician, Roman, Arab and Turkish civilizations inscribed in a territory of rare density.
The agency was founded in 1999 in Mellita, on the island of Djerba, where two journeys converged. During a family trip in 1998, Monique, a trained teacher, was captivated by the country's cultural richness and felt compelled to share it. At the same time, Arbi, a young tourism graduate, was eager to establish his own agency. From this partnership, Agence Alyssa was born, named after the Phoenician queen from Tyre who founded Carthage. Since then, the agency has specialized in Saharan tourism, cultural tours, and trekking stays in southern Tunisie.
Today, Monique still designs the programs while Arbi manages the administrative and technical aspects. Alongside them, Asma coordinates bookings, and Marwa, Lamin, Naoufel and Béchir complete a team that shares in-depth knowledge of the ground and direct connections with local service providers.
Here, we don't replicate programs. We build journeys that resemble you.

Yes, 7 days a week throughout your stay. You'll receive a local WhatsApp number + a dedicated emergency contact. Our on-site team can assist within hours in case of unexpected events (cancelled flight, illness, weather changes).
Your payments are 100% protected by the Professional Solidarity Association for Tourism. If a service provider (hotel, transport, etc.) or the agency fails, your funds are refunded. This is a mandatory guarantee for any French travel agency — Nomadays benefits from it across its entire network.
Yes, as much as possible. Changes made more than 30 days before departure are generally free of charge (excluding hotel rate differences). As your departure approaches, some bookings become less flexible — we always inform you of your options before confirmation.
