Autumn, from October to November, offers very similar conditions, ideal for combining ancient sites and trekking in the south. Summer concentrates naturally on the coasts of Djerba, Mahdia or Tabarka, when the interior exceeds 40°C. As for winter, it reveals an unexpected Tunisia: starlit nights in the Sahara, quiet medinas, raking light over Dougga or El Jem.

Tunisia remains one of the most accessible Mediterranean destinations, but a trip's budget depends mainly on the type of itinerary you choose. For a classic cultural circuit between Tunis, Kairouan, El Jem and Djerba, with quality accommodation, English-speaking guide and private vehicle, expect an average of 90 to 130 € per person per day. A Saharan expedition with bivouac, camel driver and cook around Ksar Ghilane or the Grand Erg Oriental runs roughly between 130 and 180 €.
